The current status of NESREA Zonal and State Offices is that of the 16 State Governments visited, 12 State offices in Kano, Kebbi, Plateau, Gombe, Benue, Nasarawa, Kwara, Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Imo and Rivers have been secured with 4 Zonal offices in Portharcourt, Jos, Owerri and Gombe functioning.
NESREA State offices shall work closely with State Governments to ensure effective implementation of compliance and enforcement programmes as developed by NESREA and serve as a repository of information. The NESREA Zonal Headquarters shall coordinate activities of State Offices within the Zone and shall serve as the first entry point of NESREA in each Geo-political Zone
